Description:

During your apprenticeship you learn to operate CNC milling machines and machine various materials. Afterwards you will be able to develop manufacturing strategies, write CNC programs, produce workpieces and check their quality. You also learn technical basics such as reading technical drawings, working with 3D CAD/CAM data and setting up machines correctly. Sensitivity, prudence and good spatial awareness are among your strengths. You love precision, are interested in technology and have good scientific knowledge? Then start your apprenticeship with us.

We produce prototypes and small series from aluminium castings, plastics and solid material – every part is a little different. To strengthen our team in Heidenau near Dresden, we are looking for a CNC milling machinist who enjoys variety and likes to think along. Career changers are very welcome.

Your tasks:

  • Setting up and operating our 5-axis milling machines (MIKRON MILL P500u / P800u, HPM 1350u) with Heidenhain controls (TNC 640 / iTNC 530)
  • Milling castings, patterns and parts from solid material based on 3D data and drawings
  • Adapting and optimising CNC programs at the machine
  • Inspecting the finished parts using coordinate measuring technology
  • Looking after our automated robot cell

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a cutting machine operator (Zerspanungsmechaniker) or comparable experience on CNC milling machines – career changers with manual skills and programming knowledge are also welcome
  • Experience with Heidenhain controls is an advantage
  • Good PC skills (essential) – CAD/CAM is indispensable for our parts
  • Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies
  • Ability to think in connections
