Protecting your personal data is important to us. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose and on what legal basis. Terms such as “personal data” are used as defined in Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Our website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU.
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically records technical access data:
This data is not combined with other data sources and is used solely to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted after 8 weeks at the latest.
For simple visitor statistics we use the WordPress plugin “Statify”. It only counts page views and the previously visited page (referrer). Statify does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not create user profiles; it is not possible to identify individual persons. The analysis takes place exclusively on our own server. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We only use technically necessary cookies:
These cookies are required to operate the website and are not used for analysis or advertising. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Consent (cookie banner) is therefore not required.
The connection to our website is encrypted via SSL/TLS (recognisable by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser).
To protect against attacks, the IP address and time of failed login attempts to the administration area are stored briefly in order to block repeated attempts. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of our systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, company, contact details, your message and attached files such as 3D data or drawings) in order to handle your enquiry and prepare a quotation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries.
We treat our customers’ technical documents confidentially. For their analysis we use only our own systems operated offline; they are not transferred to external AI services. On request we conclude a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Please note that emails are not always fully protected against access by third parties during transmission. For particularly confidential documents, please ask us about a secure transfer method.
If you apply for a job with us, we process your application documents solely for the purpose of the application procedure (Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no employment relationship is established, we delete your documents no later than six months after the end of the procedure, unless you have consented to longer storage.
We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising purposes. Data is only disclosed if
If we use partner companies for individual work steps, we only pass on your personal contact details with your consent.
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. Data that we must retain for commercial or tax law reasons (in particular under Section 257 HGB and Section 147 AO) is blocked until the statutory retention periods expire and then deleted.
